I have always wondered what will my voice be and how will that be pertinent. With this sense of purpose I seek opportunities for growth. I am purposeful with my travels and personal relationships remaining curious and adventurous always. I envisioned my life experiences would guide me towards the purpose I seek.

Sometimes, in my travels it seems I have gone astray or taken the road less traveled. And it feels like I have taken a long road to who I have become today but I feel accomplished as I have finally come to my truest self in the work I am creating today. I invite you to enjoy my experiences and vision expressed through my paintings.

I travel and explore and seek to make that part of my work. I photograph the places I travel using choice photos to reference for a painting. I have traveled throughout the US and outside the US as you can see in the Travel Blog. I also visited many art exhibits and museums in these visits like Art Basel, The Museum of Modern Art, Salvador Dali Museum, Del Prada, Reina Sofia, Belvedere, Accademia, Vaticani, Uffici etc. I create scenic landscapes in plein-air, too. I recently went to an artist retreat in Canada conducted by Post-Impressionist painter Keith Thirgood. This was a great opportunity to engage with other artists and participate in nightly critiques after a full day of painting.

My painting journey has brought my travel landscapes, figure and animal passions together and I am grateful to have arrived here. Now that I have discovered my way, I intend to continue my journey and create more works of art capturing the spirit of my excursions with a human/animal presence.
